A verdict is only useful if you can see the passage it came from. Astramea checks claims against a source list you trust, span by span, and abstains when the evidence does not reach.
The problem
Generative models answer fluently whether or not they know. For newsrooms and researchers, a confident sentence with no provenance is worse than no answer at all.
The approach
Each claim is decomposed into spans and checked against your designated sources. Every verdict ships with the passages behind it, and returns “needs context” rather than guessing.

Newsrooms, academic researchers, and civic organisations, onboarded in small cohorts with pricing set by volume rather than seats.
Status
In private beta. Multilingual retrieval and API access are on the roadmap.
